We’re here in Germany at Europe’s largest bike show with our new 2011 models.

Full details on the SIX! new frames will be up here shortly, but in the meantime our friends from the along the Valley, Singletrack World, have photos and details of what we’ll be offering for next year.

New bars and stems announced

We’re pleased to announce, after over a year of development that we’ve finally completed production on our first “normal” bar and stem set.

Ragley Stubbing Stems are available in 50, 55 and 60mm reach, in four colours, with two graphic options.
CNC’d to our spec from billet alloy, hand polished, blasted, anodised, and graphic’d with an included top cap, we’re delighted with these.
Price will be around £50.

Ragley Wiser Bars are in four colours, 25mm or 38mm rise, and a 720mm width.
Intelligently butted, formed from one drawn length of 7075-T6 tubing, custom bent to our spec (6deg up, 9deg back), they’ll be around £35-£40 retail.

In the shops from late August.

We’re off to Eurobike

And not just the usual “wandering around looking at things”. Ragley will have a proper stand, staffed by people who know what they’re talking about. And we’re really excited. We’re going to be in Hall A5, behind the Taiwan Pavilion. Which is my favourite place.

Two riders on the podium…

…neither of them looking in the right direction.

A very huge BLOODY WELL DONE to Twinklydave and Jason Terrahawk, who pulled in 2nd and 3rd at the Premier showcase 24hr Solo race class at OSMM last weekend. The lads were racing on their TD:1 frames, which aren’t as good as the ones you lot can buy right now.

Luxy Bar is GO!

We have been working on our offroad drop bar for ages. I mean, Ragley has only been going since Feb ’09, but this bar was on the original “to do” list. We’ve been working with (rather than against) other drop bar people out there, and particular thanks to Sam at Singular Cycles has been particularly helpful in the feedback stages.

We’re not going to go into the why’s or wherefores of offroad drop bars, or flared drops, or whatever – and this is another love it or hate it thing, but we like doing stuff like that because I think the world needs it.
